On Thursday 3 August 2023, we were pleased to welcome the Honourable Jeremy Rockliff MP, Premier of Tasmania! Despite a very busy schedule, the Premier was able to come and inspect our new cellar door, cut the ceremonial ribbon and declare our new cellar door officially open! In a show of bipartisan support, we were also honoured by the attendance of the Opposition Leader the Honourable Rebecca White MP as well as the Honourable Jane Howlett MLC. Bookings are not mandatory to visit the cellar door, but are recommended to avoid disappointment! Under the Liquor Licensing Act 1990 it is an offence:
for liquor to be delivered to an adult person under the age of 18 years. Penalty: Fine not exceeding 20 penalty units.
for a person under the age of 18 years to purchase liquor. Penalty: Fine not exceeding 10 penalty units.
for an adult person to order or request a person under the age of 18 years to take delivery to liquor sold over the internet, by telephone, facsimile or mail order. Penalty: Fine not exceeding 20 penalty units.
All orders placed must be delivered to the adult person who placed the order, or another adult person at the delivery premises who undertakes to accept it on behalf of the adult person who placed the order, or in accordance with the customer's instructions. A failure to adhere to these delivery requirements may result in a fine not exceeding 20 penalty units
