“A late-picked schönburger/riesling blend, the former being a Germanic variety developed at Geisenheim that is a cross of pinot noir and pirovanio 1 (a cross itself). You don't see much of it about. A bit in England and its homeland and, of course, here in Tassie! The wine is delicious! A riot of floral, tropical and citrus tones with an unctuous yet crisply driven form. Great stuff, if you are after a lighter style of dessert wine.” Dave Brookes
